Important Information before Travel

When traveling, it’s important to respect the culture, traditions, and values of the places you visit. Please wear appropriate attire as a sign of respect. Thank you.

1. Visa

VISA: for Nepal visitors can get upon arrival at the tribhuban international airport (TIA)

What do you need to obtain a Nepal visa?

If you are thinking of taking a visa at the airport or immigration entry point , the following are your requirements:

• A valid passport (The passport should have a validity of at least six months and must have at least a blank page for the visa stamp)
• You should complete the application form online before arriving at the entry point. Click Here for the application.
• Visa fees should be paid in cash or by credit card.

Note: The submitted application will remain in the system for 15 days. After 15 days, the application will be deleted automatically from the system. Thus, submit the visa application only 15 days from your arrival date at the entry point.

3. Packing List

For a two-week visit to Nepal involving treks and tours, here’s a suggested
packing list:
A. Clothing
  • Lightweight, moisture-wicking shirts and pants for trekking
  • Warm layers for colder nights and higher altitudes
  • Waterproof jacket or raincoat
  • Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots with good traction
  • Sandals or comfortable shoes for leisurely walks and city tours
  • Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for sun protection
  • Scarf or buff for covering your face from dust or wind
B. For the golfing:

When golfing in Nepal, consider packing comfortable and breathable clothing suitable for the climate. Here’s a suggested outfit:

  1. Polo shirts or collared shirts:** Lightweight, moisture-wicking fabrics are ideal for staying cool and comfortable during your game.
  2. Golf shorts or pants:** Opt for breathable and flexible bottoms that allow for ease of movement. Longer pants may be preferable if you’re concerned about sun exposure or insect bites.
  3. Golf shoes: Bring comfortable golf shoes with good traction to navigate various terrains on the course.
  4. Hat: Protect yourself from the sun.
  5. Socks: Wear moisture-wicking socks to keep your feet dry and comfortable throughout your game.
  6. Rain gear: Depending on the season, it’s wise to pack a waterproof jacket or raincoat in case of unexpected showers.
  7. Sunscreen: Apply sunscreen generously to exposed skin to prevent sunburn.

*Golfing in Nepal is a super fun it’s one of 20th unique golf course in the world, you have to golf here and experience yourself. It’s always a good idea to bring along any personal golfing accessories or equipment you prefer, such as gloves, tees, or rangefinders.

  • Backpack or daypack for carrying essentials during treks
  • Water bottle or hydration system
  • Headlamp or flashlight with extra batteries
  • Quick-dry towel and toiletries
  • Whistle
D. Health & Safety:
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Basic first aid kit including any personal medications such as • Essential medical kit , Insect repellent ,sunscreen, Aspirin, tylenol/ Ibuprofen, band-aids/plasters, adhesive tape, anti-histamines, antibacterial gel/wipes, antiseptic cream, Imodium medication for in cases of diarrhea, rehydration powder, water purification tablets ,, and if any recommended by your doctor/regular prescription medication your require.
  • High-altitude sickness medication, if recommended by your doctor
  • Personal identification, please bring emergency contact details and travel insurance documents
E. Electronics:
  • Camera or smartphone for capturing memories
  • Portable charger or power bank
  • Adapter plug for charging devices In Nepal electricity is 220-240 volts and 50 HZ so please bring the travel adapter.
F. Miscellaneous:
  • Journal and pen for documenting your journey
  • Snacks and energy bars
  • Cash/credit card and debit card.

Remember to pack light, as you’ll likely be carrying your belongings during treks. Additionally, check the weather forecast for the specific regions you’ll be visiting to ensure you’re adequately prepared for any conditions.

5. Food
